As Things Fall Apart and Twelve, which also features Chace Crawford, due out next year, the American Grammy Award winning rapper is cleaning his body since the tattoos are causing him problems now that he wants to focus on his acting career.
50 Cent told AllHipHop.com that: “I took some of the tattoos off because on the movie set, if we got a six o’clock call time, I have to be there two o’clock the night before.
I gotta go through four hours of make up before we go ahead and play the role. So, I just took it off my arm; my right arm. The move may be working for 50 Cent because he is also starring in another upcoming drama Streets Of Blood, which stars Val Kilmer, Sharon Stone and Michael Biehn.
Outside of Hollywood, 50 Cents latest album, Before I Self Destruct which was released in November of 2009, sold 160 000 and landed at number five on Billboard 200. Even though 50 Cent has removed tattoos from his arms, he is not likely to remove them all because he still bears the “50 Cent” and “Southside” tattoos on his back, that he vowed to keep.
